Training, Lectures and Mentoring Programmes
Mentor Scheme Seminar

Each Lodge is expected to appoint a Lodge Mentor, an experienced member who will
appoint Personal Mentors to look after the development of new recruits and other
members who may need support. Once or twice a year a seminar is held to support
new and existing Lodge Mentors.
The next available Seminar is listed in the Diary Dates
Preparing for the Masters’ Chair Seminar
The prospect of becoming Master of the Lodge can generate a range of questions
and concerns. The workshops for aspiring members have proven to be most
helpful in clarifying the role, alleviating anxiety and boosting confidence and
enthusiasm. Attendance is open to any Lodge Officer who aims to progress to the
Chair. For further information or to book a place, please contact the Provincial
Education Officer,
Brian Rushton.

Suggestions for topics are always
welcomed and should be forwarded to the Provincial

Orations
All Lodges should try to include an Oration in their annual programme. It
provides an opportunity to consider
aspects of our ritual in more detail and to reflect on its meaning and
significance to us as individual masons. Orations are not simply a means of completing the annual programme when there is no Candidate's ceremony
but more a complement to the work of the Lodge and an extension to a Mason's
knowledge, be he senior or junior. Please follow
this link to the Provincial Orator's page.
