THE PROVINCIAL TEAM
VISIT VIVARY LODGE
All who are raised to become Master Masons remember the occasion but
for Wayne Barrett of Vivary Lodge No 8654, the evening was
exceptionally memorable as the ceremony was conducted by the
Provincial Grand Master himself.
The December meeting of the Lodge was honoured by a visit by the
Provincial Grand Master and the officers of the Province, including
practically all of the acting officers and a choir from St Cecilia’s
Lodge.
They were welcomed by the WM of Vivary, W Bro William Allen who said
it was the first visit of a Provincial Team to the Lodge since its
formation 36 years ago.
The delivery of ritual by the Provincial Team was flawless and the
brethren of the host Lodge were impressed by a superb example of
‘workmanship’.
Following the festive board, W Bro William thanked the Provincial
Grand Master, his officers and the choir for the honour of the visit
and for conducting the ceremony. He said they had given the lodge “
a real Christmas treat” and Bro Wayne an evening he “will remember
for the rest of his Masonic Career”.
Thanks to Vivary LIO Peter Light for the story
