Lodge of Unanimity & Sincerity No.261 support Red Cross

The 2011 Ladies Night hosted by the WM Roger Bailey and his wife Pam at the Castle Hotel treated over 70 guests to an excellent reception, dinner and entertainment.

Pam's mother had suffered a bad fall earlier on in the year and Pam was able to obtain equipment from Red Cross which in turn, aided her recovery. They were therefore delighted to nominate Red Cross as the beneficiary charity of the Ladies Night which raised £535.

The picture shows the cheque being presented by Roger & Pam to David Furze of the Taunton branch of the British Red Cross Society who plan to use the funds towards the purchase of new lightweight wheelchairs.

In recognition of the help and support from Roger & Pam and the Lodge of Unanimity & Sincerity, Red Cross plan to fit each of the new wheelchairs with a plaque inscribed: "Provided by Lodge 261".
