Freemasons double-up their support for the Air Ambulances
Recognising the unique and invaluable service that both the Dorset &
Somerset Air Ambulance and also the Great Western Air Ambulance give
to the people in Somerset
local Freemasons have
presented each of these charitable organisations with another cheque
for £4,000.00
Bill Sivewright, CEO of
Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance has thanked Somerset Freemasons
for their further ‘amazing’ donation and has said: “Your on-going
support of the Air Ambulance is very much appreciated. Please pass
on our grateful thanks to all the Somerset Freemasons for their
great generosity".
In May 2011
Somerset Freemasons presented both Air Ambulances with a donation of
£4,000.00 from The Freemasons’
Grand Charity. These latest grants are from local Freemasons and
demonstrate the high regard and appreciation that Masons throughout
the county have for this life-saving service which
"takes
the hospital to the accident".
